About Us - The Vision

What Is Cope?

Alright, cool, hey, I’m Jaelin and Cope is the name behind my podcast, coaching philosophy, and lifestyle brand. My vision? To create a space where real health is truly accessible, rooted in integrative wellness that bridges the gap between physical and mental health—something most health programs today miss. But what does that actually look like?

The more in-depth definition of Cope is 'to face and deal with difficulties or responsibilities successfully and in a calm and adequate manner.' As you get to know me and what I do a bit better, you’ll see that this is what I’m all about. I've found that the quality of our character is shaped by how we handle the inevitable stress and challenges of life on Earth. Shit is not easy out here, and tough times are bound to happen... congrats, we're human. The more equipped we are to navigate the chaos, the better we become for ourselves, our loved ones, and the world around us.

I’ve talked a lot about holistic health, but what does that really mean? Unfortunately, the modern understanding of the term is limited, and let’s face it, a bit misleading. The wellness industry is saturated with contradictory advice focused on weight loss, diet trends, meditation, yoga, and other marketable quick fixes. Holistic health is assumed to be all that stuff plus essential oils, energy healing, and herbal supplements to cure whatever you’ve got going on. Maybe that’s a jaded simplification, completely possible, but that’s definitely what it seems like if we’re going off of hashtags and magazine articles.

Don’t get me wrong, some of those things are important. I’m just proposing we do a little more critical thinking before we put our health in the hands of Oprah’s latest diet fad (no offense Oprah, I think you’re a maverick and I respect the hustle, get it girl). In my opinion, well-being is both simpler and broader than the big industries make it out to be. Holistic health is the perspective that our well-being is shaped by a range of interconnected factors, including physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional health. I find that many conversations in the health and wellness space are quite myopic and exclusive, often focusing too much on just one aspect while missing the bigger picture.

The Role of Cope

My goal is to approach holistic health in a way that aligns with its fundamental meaning. Cope’s mission is to advocate for health and wellness in a way that is accessible while building a community of like-minded individuals, each relentlessly pursuing their unique potential. I’m committing my life to building something that I needed when I was struggling to love my life and build a life that I loved.

Our philosophy on well-being prioritizes progress and process over perfection. It emphasizes balancing enjoyment and discipline, the harmony of being and doing, and the delicate dance between striving and letting go. It changes the perspective on health to view people as whole beings, recognizing all aspects of their lives in the pursuit of true wellness.

So that’s the big idea, to bring people together and cultivate a community dedicated to holistic health.
